Their team oversees land acquisition, zoning, entitlements, financing, and the coordination of all consultants, general contractors, and sales/marketing teams. Theyre committed to shaping Chicago's urban landscape with thoughtfully designed and expertly executed developments.The RoleMy client is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to be hands-on in overseeing new construction projects from start to finish. The Project Manager will have direct involvement in day-to-day project management, managing non-union subcontractors, and working closely with leadership to ensure high-quality execution and timely delivery of our developments.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee new construction residential projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Work directly with non-union subcontractors, ensuring quality control and smooth execution.Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants, contractors, and vendors.Monitor and manage the schedule, budget, and resources for each project.Collaborate closely with the leadership team, including the CEO, to drive projects forward.Handle on-site project management duties, including inspections, troubleshooting, and resolving project issues as they arise.Ensure that all projects meet the companys standards of excellence in construction and design.What We're Looking For6-10 years of experience in construction project management, ideally coming from a mid-sized General Contractor Hands-on, "roll up your sleeves" mentality, comfortable in a fast-paced, small team environment.Strong knowledge of residential construction and ability to manage non-union subcontractors.A proactive problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.Familiarity with the full development cycle from conceptualization to project completion.Previous experience in smaller development firms or with smalle to midsized GCs (who can adapt to a nimble, hands-on approach).Experience managing projects with a range of values, from $5M to $20M.Ability to work well with a tight-knit team, including collaborating directly with leadership.Why Join My Client?Work closely with senior leadership, including their CEO with 15+ years of real estate executive experience.Be part of a nimble, growing team, with only 10 staff members, overseeing four active projects ranging from $5M to $20M.Competitive salary of $110K - $150K, plus additional incentives.Direct involvement in high-quality residential developments that shape Chicago's urban landscape.Opportunity to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing company.If you're ready to make an impact and join a growing real estate development firm with a focus on quality, hands-on project management, we want to hear from you!
