Job ** As an Assistant Manager for our retail dispensary, you will play a key role in overseeing daily operations and providing leadership to a team of highly motivated and engaged retail Associates. You will assist the Store Manager in managing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing workflow efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for teamwork, and a commitment to upholding company standards.Assist the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.Provide leadership and guidance to Retail Associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching and development to staff members.Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Inventory Supervisor to ensure adequate stock availability.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to cannabis sales, including age verification and record-keeping.Oversee cash handling procedures, including reconciling cash drawers and preparing bank deposits.Assist in resolving customer complaints and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.Assist with scheduling and managing staffing levels to meet business needs.Support marketing and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in the cannabis industry, retail, or other fast-paced industries.Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.Knowledge of cannabis products, culture, and compliance requirements a plus, but not requiredExcellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Proficiency in using POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office suite.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Must be 21 years of age or older and eligible to work in Menominee, MI.Competitive salary based on experience.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.Health insurance.Employee discounts on cannabis products.Positive and inclusive work culture with a supportive team environment.Working *** This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed to meet business demands.If you have a passion for leadership, a strong understanding of operations, and a desire to contribute to the success of the cannabis industry, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity!
