Practice Lead

Im tremendously excited to be exclusively representing one of AmLaws very best firms on their search to add a Business Development Manager to their Capital Markets practice!In this position, you will work closely with the Head of Business Development to support and drive strategic growth initiatives, client development and market positioning for this flagship area for the firm. This role supports a partner that has been with the firm for over 25 years and has a tremendous track record of success. The preferred candidate will serve as the go-to liaison and will develop and execute client strategy, while managing marketing initiatives for the Capital Markets practice area. I feel this provides an excellent opportunity for someone with some management experience to further their growth as a leader, while taking a larger role in the strategic planning and approach for key accounts and clients.I'd love to speak with professionals that have previous management experience in a Business Development role within a Capital Markets practice area within a Law Firm. Beyond that, this person must be enthusiastic about the opportunity and must lead by example for junior staff members.Core *****Lead the development and execution of strategic and proactive business development initiatives and opportunities to secure new business for and elevate the market profile of the Finance practiceUnderstand the Firm's Capital Markets practice and platforms, client base, market opportunities and business development support needsOversee and execute the preparation of pitches, presentations, RFP responses, background materials and general practice group marketing materialsOversee and execute all legal directory (g., Chambers, Legal 500, IFLR), award and league table submissions, including working with the partners to develop submission strategy and reviewing and editing all entriesI feel the current salary banding is competitive within the market, however, if you are looking for something above this range, Im open to discuss further.
