This role involves identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and leading business development efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a growth strategy for federal government contractsIdentify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunitiesBuild and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholdersLead capture management and proposal development effortsStay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activitiesAttend industry events and networking opportunitiesRequirements2-4 years of experience in business development and capture management within federal government contractingExperience in professional services and proposal developmentStrong understanding of federal contracting methods and procurement processesProficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and federal opportunity sourcing tools (SAM.gov, FedConnect, Deltek GovWin)Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with 8(a) Federal contractingKnowledge of Shipley Proposal Methods
