Client: Pharma ClientJob type: ContractDuration: 12 -Months ContractLocation: North Chicago, IL , (Hybrid)Title: Training Specialist III / Instructional Designer & Learning DevelopmentJob Overview:The Training Specialist III will play a critical role in supporting the development, execution, and analysis of Equity, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EEDI) learning programs. Working with internal teams and external vendors, this position involves instructional design, data analysis, and vendor management to enhance the effectiveness of EEDI initiatives across the organization. This is a hybrid role, with 50% of time focused on data analysis and reporting, 20-30% on special projects, and 20-30% spent in team collaboration and learning material development.Key Responsibilities:InstructionalDesign & Learning Development: Collaborate with EEDI team, HR, and business leaders to design and develop training materials and resources (e.g., mentor guides, toolkits, "how-to" sheets) using instructional design methods. Develop and deliver learning programs related to EEDI, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance. Assist in the research, selection, and development of effective learning tools and resources.Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse and track data related to training progress, effectiveness, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Create reports and assessments to evaluate the success of learning programs and recommend continuous improvements. Aggregate data to monitor learning outcomes, talent flow, and development metrics.Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Partner with external vendors to design and create learning materials and resources. Maintain and manage relationships with vendors, including managing contracts and performance. Identify and evaluate new vendors as needed to ensure the best resources for the EEDI learning initiatives.EEDI Expertise: Provide expertise in EEDI best practices to help develop and deliver effective learning strategies within the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve performance gaps and ensure programs align with organizational EEDI objectives.Special Projects& Strategic Initiatives: Participate in special projects, including organizational EEDI initiatives, leadership conferences, and other strategic learning programs. Help with the planning, execution, and reporting for bi-annual leadership and development conferences.Learning & Development Support: Manage and update learning materials, reviewing, and editing documents to ensure quality and relevance. Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback and insights from training analysis.Confidentiality& Security: Uphold the security and confidentiality of training documents, data, and other sensitive information.Skills & Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree required. A master's degree or certifications in instructional design, EEDI, or related fields is a plus.Experience:5+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, and training facilitation.EEDI/DEI Expertise: Experience with EEDI/DEI training initiatives and best practices.Instructional Design: Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and experience developing learning materials and curricula.PowerPoint Skills: Strong proficiency in PowerPoint to design decks, presentations, and training materials (please provide examples with your resume).Data Analysis: Ability to work with Excel to analyse training data, create reports, and track KPIs.Vendor Management: Experience managing relationships with external vendors and facilitating effective training partnerships.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting, training delivery, and stakeholder interaction.Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Autonomous Work Style: Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects with minimal supervision.LMS Experience: Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred but not required.US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
