Sinegal Estate is a family-owned winery based in St. Helena with a focus on affordable luxury wine. We are looking for a sales professional located in Seattle or surrounding region to build our brands in WA. Once the WA region is established and has momentum the role will expand into OR, MT, etc. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record as a sales professional within the On-Premise Channel and possess deep relationships with Key Accounts for immediate impact.This is a sales job, boots on the ground with wine bag in hand. This is not a distributor management position.Job Description:Reporting to the GM, this role will maintain an in-depth and thorough knowledge of the Key Markets in the Northwest. The focus will be WA first then OR and MT with some travel to AK and ID down the line. Again, this is a sales position not a Distributor Manager position! The only way to succeed is to be in the accounts and leveraging and building your own relationships. The Sales Manager will aggressively and proactively identify and close market opportunities within both the On-Premise and Off-Premise channelsEssential Duties and Responsibilities include:· Ability to close sales on volume placements.· Based in Seattle/Bellevue or adjacent Key Market.· Solo Market work 4-5 days a week. We do not wait around for official distributor work-withs.· Utilize CRM daily. Account Meetings, Tasks and Follow-ups updated in CRM. · Maintain and develop long-term relationships with our existing accounts, while establishing and building new distribution, and growing account base by opening new accounts. · Maintain regular communication and contact with accounts, including frequent on-site visits to sample products, provide customer support and monitor inventory levels. · Create target lists of alpha accounts for each sku and track performance in them. · Attend and support consumer events, wine dinners and trade tastings. · Achieve annual targets set with the management team.· Work within brand standards to always insure retail pricing and programming integrity.Recognize opportunities to generate and develop new business and distribution.Track and maintain inventory burn rates to make sure there are no OOS issues.Provide timely and relevant reports for the management team as needed.Adhere to Company policies, and ABC regulations.Job Requirements:5+ years successful track record in fine wine industry sales. Strong knowledge and experience of the industry. Established relationships with Key accounts. Honest and deals with unquestionable integrity in all business transactions.Possesses a passion for sales with a competitive spirit to win.Entrepreneurial and self-motivated with a willingness to push the boundaries and grow.Communicative and collaborative. The ability to lift 40 pounds and travel via car for long periods of time.Compensation:$105k + 20% annual bonus. T&E, Car allowance, 401k match. 15 days PTO.
