Colton RV & Marine is proud to represent top brands like like Airstream, Brinkly, Coachmen, Entegra, Grand Design, Keystone RV, Tiffin Motorhomes and Winnebago.POSITION SUMMARY: The General Sales Manager is responsible for recruiting, training, and motivating the sales team. It is the General Sales Manager's responsibility to maximize gross profit opportunities for all departments within the dealership. The General Sales Manager is the quarterback of the dealership and must lead the dealership through day-to-day operations.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Handle day to day operations:Organize and lead sales meetings and trainingsRun the daily production meetingProduce gross profit, while driving finance penetration and protecting all departments profit opportunitiesDesking and closing deals with the sales teamWork closely with sales team to ensure that the sales system is being properly followed and executedAnalyze and review leads using CRM DashboardFollow-up with salespeople on past due tasksConduct quality Manager Check Points with salespeople, ensuring that we are showing customers the appropriate inventoryMonitor customer interaction, up process, and progress on the Road to the SaleMeet and greet all customers before they view inventory and again before they leaveCreate and monitor sales manager and sales person schedulesAct quick in holding deals togetherEnsure Colton RV sales department processes are followedCommunicate effectively amongst all departmentsDrive deliveries through the dealership, ensuring a smooth process for our employees and customersIncludes scheduling deliveries appropriatelyResponsible for the accuracy of the delivery scheduleBe the best resource in the dealership for product knowledgeCleanliness of the dealership showroom and sales lotLook Good, Feel Good, Play GoodInventoryIntimately know your inventory (what is distressed, what are our opportunities)ACV tradesWalk all trades and negotiate if undisclosed damage is found on day of deliveryEnsure the trade check in process is followedCreate detail requests for our Recon DepartmentMonitor Inventory on the lot, making sure we have the appropriate inventory on the lot at all timesEnsure all inventory is priced accurately on the lot at all timesMonitor inventory levels. Work with VP of Sales on any inventory needsReview ACV's and pricing with VP of SalesEnsure 5 Star Customer Experience: Push for 5 Star Google and Facebook reviews on all transactionsResolve customer concerns to positive outcomesWork with employees on HR concerns and coordinate with ESC and our HR DirectorResponsible for salesperson coaching, one on one training, and report cardsResponsible for the appearance of the sales officeResponsible for Receptionist management and schedulesResponsible for management of the sales lot portersEnsure the proper salesperson dress code is followedMake sure that Sales Manager and salesperson check lists are complete and signed off on all Deal JacketsComplete manager calls on all phone deals prior to going to financeReview "dead deals" with VP of Sales and Finance DirectorResponsible for the culture of the sales teamAttend and contribute to weekly Sales Manager meetingAssist VP of Sales in setting up ShowsAttend RV Shows as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Prior experience leading, developing, and building teamsProven track record of success growing sales departmentsExperience building a positive cultureStrong customer relationship skillsExcellent communication skillsColton RV & Marine is an equal opportunity employer.
