Bravado represents a privately-held startup that develops AI-powered digital personas that engage in real-time conversations; think of the chatbots we use every day but with a lifelike avatar experience.This 10-employee, Seed Funded firm ($11 million in total funding), whose founders previously contributed to Synthesia's $2 billion valuation, is seeking a Founding Account Executive to sell $30k to $100k ACV deals to companies that are looking to improve the conversational AI experience for their customers. Target sectors include EdTech, MedTech, e-commerce, and retail. This role is based out of our U.S. headquarters office in New York City.SolutionOur builds digital personas that are photorealistic, multilingual, respond in real-time and are available 24/7. With this lightning-fast platform, you can easily deploy a human face for your product and transform how users interact with your brand.Role* Individual contributor role, reporting to the CEO and working from their Manhattan office.* $115k to $140k+ base salary, double OTE. Uncapped comp plan with accelerators. Company equity, medical benefits, and a commuter stipend round out the comp.* You must have experience as a Founding Account Executive, or as one of the first few Account Executives hired at a fast-growth startup.* You will typically call on the Head of Product, CTO, Head of Innovation, and Head of Customer Experience.* You have built repeatable prospecting and sales motions using modern AI sales tools to maximize your time by "automating yourself."* No order takers please; you are scrappy, gritty, driven, creative, and passionate about AI sales!* This is a Challenger Sale through and through - you are creating the need and creating the budget. Ideally, you have the ambition to run your own sales team one day and are comfortable working in low-structure/high-ambiguity environments. In this full-sales cycle role, you will have the opportunity to execute end-to-end from outbound prospecting through account management. The ideal candidate has experience selling evangelical solutions to the Head of Product, CTO, CEO, and related titles, and has excelled in an early-stage B2B startup. Ideal candidates will have experience selling to our target clients in EdTech, MedTech, e-commerce, and retail. As our first Account Executive you'll:Cold call, cold call, cold call!! You cannot be afraid to pick up the phone. You will also be prospecting through emails, events, conferences and other direct communication strategiesManage our outbound process, including writing and testing to identify successful messaging, and iterating on customer segmentation strategies Manage the entire customer funnel, supporting prospects through the customer journeyBring your creativity to bear with fresh ideas on winning new customersHelp define how we make your process repeatable for the next hires Strong candidates will have:Experience as a Founding Account Executive, or one of the first few Account Executives hired at a fast-growth startupExcellent written and verbal communication skills, and 3+ years of experience in a sales role where you consistently exceeded metricsExperience working in an early-stage SaaS business or an early-stage b2b company Full stack sales experience: from outbound prospecting and lead generation all the way through to demos and closing dealsData-driven approaches to inform the sales process, including frequent tracking and reporting effortsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while consistently assessing what to prioritize and deprioritize Experience with Salesforce and Outreach (or equivalent); excited to experiment with new Sales tools We're looking for someone who personally:Can be a strategic thinker and get their hands dirtyHas the grit, hustle, and perseverance to meet ambitious growth goals and thrive in a fast-paced environmentIs a self-starter who's intrinsically motivated and does well with ambiguityIs collaborative and comfortable working in an early-stage startup where learning and adapting quickly is importantHas the ability and willingness to work from the office at least 3 days a week
