We are dedicated to our audience, and we believe that strong brands and high-quality programming create an unparalleled fan experience across the Great American Media portfolio.Ideal candidates will be able to work onsite at our our New York City office (New York, NY 10019).Job PurposeThe Sales Planner is responsible for providing support to the Advertising Sales department by working with Account Executives to service clients on a daily basis.Duties and ResponsibilitiesBuild sales plansAssist in the daily maintenance of media schedulesService agencies and client requests such as stewardship, liability, and traffic concernsManage added value for all clients, coordinating, tracking, and implementing elements and providing recap and follow upManage posting process: pre-post and allocate ADUs, track pre-empted spots and provide make-goods as well as monitoring programming changesCreate PowerPoint presentations for sponsorship opportunities and other projects as assignedManage final posts for internal reporting and providing clients with final delivery overviewWork with Research on agency requestsBuild and modify sales orders including weekly allocations and move requestsSteward client accounts by creating and updating flowcharts and change noticesPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma, Bachelor's degree preferredPrior experience as a receptionist, office manager or in related field1+ years of planning experienceAbility to organize a daily workload by prioritiesMust be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environmentConsistent, professional dress and mannerCompetency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and OutlookExcellent time management skillsExperience with administrative and clerical proceduresAble to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as requiredAdditional industry experience a plusWorking ConditionsThis position is in an office environment and will require minimal travel. The hybrid schedule typically consists of being onsite Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday and remote Monday/Friday.Physical RequirementsTo meet the essential requirements of this position, you must be able to:Sit for long periods of time; more than 30 minutesStand for long periods of time; more than 30 minutesType and complete other meticulous tasksBend and reachLift up to 15 pounds at a timeDirect ReportsNone.Compensation, Benefits and Application ProcessCompetitive base salary commensurate with experience.
