A global IT solution provider is currently seeking a Japanese / English Bilingual Account Manager to support their sales team in Manhattan, NY. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-year work experience and a positive, team-oriented mindset. This is a full-time, direct hire position.Responsibility of JP/EN BL Account Manager: Serve as the main point of contact for Japanese and English-speaking clients, ensuring effective communication across both languages.Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships by understanding client needs and providing tailored IT solutions.Manage client accounts, oversee project timelines, and coordinate resources to ensure successful project execution.Develop and present IT solutions, including cloud services, network infrastructure, and system integration, to clients in both languages.Collaborate with internal teams (sales, technical, support) to ensure high-quality delivery of services.Act as a liaison between Japanese-speaking clients and English-speaking internal teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding.Conduct regular client meetings to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any issues or concerns.Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and work closely with the sales team to expand service offerings.Maintain accurate records of client interactions, project progress, and business opportunities using CRM tools.Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to provide valuable insights to clients.Requirements of the JP/EN BL Account Manager:Advanced working proficiency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written) is essential.Proven experience in account management, sales, or client relations, preferably within the IT industry is strongly preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to travel occasionally, as required by the business.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with Japanese-speaking clients or with Japanese business culture.Knowledge of IT trends, cloud platforms, and networking technologies.Previous experience in technical sales or consultingBachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).-------------------------------------------------------------------Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc., has been one of the leading recruiting firms in North America when it comes to working with Japanese Businesses for over 20 years.
