This role will oversee a network of distribution partners, independent representatives, and end users, with a primary focus on driving specification work with architects and engineers. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of strategic sales growth, strong relationship-building skills within the construction sector, and a deep understanding of project funnel management. A collaborative mindset, exceptional communication, and solid leadership abilities are essential to succeed in this role.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop & Execute Sales StrategiesFormulate region-specific plans to drive market penetration in waterproofing and protective coatings.Track performance metrics, identify growth opportunities, and adjust tactics to exceed regional targets.Channel & Partner ManagementCultivate strong relationships with distribution partners and independent representatives.Provide training, support, and guidance to ensure accurate forecasting, order fulfillment, and inventory management.Specification & Customer EngagementPursue and secure product specifications by collaborating with architects, engineers, and design-build firms.Organize product demonstrations and educational sessions (e.g., lunch-and-learns) to showcase solutions.Market Intelligence & Competitive AnalysisStay informed on industry trends, evolving customer needs, and competitor strategies.Provide actionable insights to safeguard market share and capitalize on emerging opportunities.CRM & Funnel ManagementUtilize CRM/Salesforce to maintain accurate project data, track opportunities, and manage the sales pipeline.Generate regular reports on sales activities and pipeline health for internal stakeholdersEducation & QualificationsBachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work experience).Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-direct in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Experience with formal sales training, value selling, and solution-based sales.Strong CRM expertise ( preferred) to execute sales funnel management and optimize sales operationsMust be able to travel up to 70% within the territory to maximize face-to-face customer engagement.
