Sales Specialist

M&L Equipment Company, founded in 1937, sells and services commercial and industrial laundry equipment to a variety of industries. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented salesperson to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new leads and following up on leads that come from our existing accounts. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills and while building relationships with new and existing customers.·      Quickly learn machine brands/models in order to provide customers with relevant solutions·      Continue and enhance relationships with existing customers·      Create contact with and develop relationships with businesses not currently working with M&L Equipment Company. Industries primarily include but are not limited *****o  Hospitality o  Pet Hotels/Hospitalso  Country clubso  Salonso  High school/university athletic departmentso  Healthcare (Nursing homes, rehab centers, etc.)o  Commercial Laundrieso  Correctional agencies (local & state)o  Fire Departments·      Register equipment at customer locations that M&L Equipment Company does not currently do business withJob Requirements·      Mechanical knowledge and at minimum a limited understanding of plumbing, electric, HVAC·      Experience initiating contact with potential customers that have not previously done business with the organization·      Vehicle for transportation to and from customers meetings (employee will receive car allowance) Compensation·      $45k plus commission (10% of gross profit on sales)·      Paid Time Off·      Health Insurance·      Profit Sharing Plan & 401-K
