We are a leading global supplier with expertise in various components for the automotive market, such as Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), powertrain, transmissions, chassis, electric vehicles, motorcycles, and industrial vehicles. Our manufacturing plants are located in different parts of the world, which helps us be close to car manufacturers (OEMs) and find the best solutions for their needs, even for complex applications.Purpose of position: Leader of three main areas of business interest:1.- Business development and acquisition 2.- New Programs commercial management 3.- Series production commercial managementSupport the assigned area in achieving short and medium term commercial performances. Contribute in defining the sales targets for the assigned area, ensure the application of sales strategy and operative guidelines, propose action plan to solve critical issues. Maintain the relationships between Headquarters and local area.Main Responsibilities by area of interest :Business development and acquisition Prepare long term plan and propose target business to companies management by Market analysis, Vehicle trends and OEMS projected platforms, Uses either customer information and I H S and or similar data, Actively participates in global company market reviews;Monitor all B2B customer sites to secure access to customer RFQ (Request for quotation).Leads acquisition teams to prepare commercial offers.Asses cost data and challenge team to secure competitiveness and companies profitability New Programs commercial management. Collaborates with company´s program manager (PM) and R&D to secure successful program launch in terms of customer milestone compliance and part profitability New Price and bridge quotation readiness when engineering changes. Access customer B2B system to secure capacity data integrity.Secure all customers' requirements are costed and priced. Series production commercial managementMaintain Product data integrity in the systems, like price updates, capacity, supplier contact information, service parts price.Review engineering changes prices with PM Support plant in any communication to customer Solve Account receivable issues and escalate when necessary to secure cash. Coordinates activities to secure tooling payment Monitors plant compliance to secure customer satisfaction and participates actively in corrective action reports and communication to customer. Prepare an review Sales rolling forecast and Budget preparation. Other duties as assigned. Track and ensure timely resolution of all customer commercial issuesGuarantee the establishing of product pricing and offeringsMaintains regular contact with customer groups as necessaryAssists upper management in the preparation of sales plan including specific goals and potentials as well as action plans and strategies for each accountPrepares special reports as required to support managementProvide technical assistance where neededInterface with other locations for full customer serviceJob Requirements and Skills:Minimum 7 to 10 years sales experience within the Automotive industry Possess strong leadership skills to coordinate a matrix teamExcellent communication skills; Demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of an organization. Ability to work in a diverse setting and function in an internationally matrixed environmentExcellent Time-Management skillsCustomer oriented and self-motivatedStrong problem solving skillsAbility to function autonomously or in a teamAbility to read and interpret parts drawingsAbility to interpret and analyze cost dataExcellent computer skills; Microsoft SuiteAvailability to travel locally and internationally between 25 - 50%; including 3-4 weeks in Italy for training purposes at the beginning-Excellent presentation skills (written and verbal)Strong network within Automotive Education: Bachelor's degree highly preferred, MBA beneficial. Focus in business, marketing, communication or engineering.
