From custom fabrication to design consultation, we offer a full range of services to meet the evolving needs of our clients and their projects.Position OverviewThis is a part-time, field-based hybrid role for a Strategic Sales & Relationship Manager at HOLOS Lighting. We are looking for a sales professional who thrives on building long-term relationships and guiding clients through complex, custom projects. The Strategic Sales & Relationship Manager will be responsible for promoting our custom lighting solutions and processes to architects, designers, and builders. This includes calling on professional offices, networking with industry professionals, and overseeing sales strategies to drive business growth. Success in this role requires balancing sales objectives with project feasibility, collaborating with internal teams, and serving as a trusted partner to our clients throughout the design and fabrication process.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and nurture strong relationships with architects, designers, and clients.Guide prospects through the custom lighting design and fabrication process, ensuring their vision aligns with feasibility and production capabilities.Collaborate with internal teams (designers, engineers, craftsmen) to balance sales opportunities with project objects.Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, managing expectations and facilitating clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.Identify new business opportunities and maintain a pipeline of high-value projects (averaging in range from $30,000 to $50,000 or more per project)Present quotes and proposals, ensuring they align with client goals and project feasibility.Report to the CEO and COO on internal and external business development and relationship-building opportunities to drive further growth and expand HOLOS's brand and missionIdeal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate has strong ties to the architectural and commercial design community in Northeast Ohio and/or Greater Ohio State area and a strong familiarity with design, development, project planning, and implementation across multiple markets, including hospitality, restaurant, and worship spaces.This person is a relationship-driven sales professional who thrives on guiding architects, designers, and builders through the complexities of custom lighting projects. They are not just selling a product"”they demonstrate how HOLOS Lighting's unique creative expertise can be incorporated into any step of a project's phase from design development through project completion, thus ultimately reiterating the value HOLOS Lighting brings to the lighting consultation, design, fabrication, and restoration spaces.The ideal candidate should also:Have experience in consultative or relationship-based sales, ideally within custom fabrication, architectural products, and/or high-end design.Be a strategic thinker with the ability to identify project opportunities and cultivate projects that involve multiple stakeholders.Possess strong problem-solving skills to navigate evolving client needs and project challenges.Be comfortable collaborating with internal teams, balancing sales opportunities with design and fabrication objectives.Have familiarity with high-end architectural or lighting products (preferred but not required).Compensation and BenefitsThe pay schedule for this role is structured to account for necessary training based on individual experience and to incentivize the candidate to exceed sales objectives.$30,000 base pay, plus 5% commission on all new projects for the first 6 monthsAfter 2 months of employment, the candidate will be subject to a standard performance review, including discussion on progress towards hitting sales objectives and establishing sales strategies for the following 4 months.Ability to negotiate increased commission rates after 6 months based on the candidate's ability to hit or exceed sales goalsBasic Requirements (the "Must-Haves")Must have access to own transportationMust have own phone plan
