We are assisting software company with their search for a Director of Sales Compensation. They are looking for a hands-on leader to own the sales compensation process, from analysis, plan development, and commission calculation. The team is responsible for administering commission plan designs, plan structures, and onboarding new members in the compensation system to ensure sales compensation plans, credits, quotas and commissions are prepared according to Senior Management decisions and guidance to meet company objectives. As a Director of Sales Compensation, your role will be to manage a small team that leads the company's compensation process for its sales force. This includes supporting plan designs, maintaining systems, making system changes, reviewing quota assignments, rolling out comp plans and calculating commissions timely and accurately. The team will also be responsible for reporting sales achievements and support routine commission expense analysis and projections.Our client is working a hybrid schedule in Orange County, CA, but will consider exceptional fully remote candidates.Salary: $160-$180kResponsibilities:Collaborate with Finance and Sales Management to design and implement sales comp plans for quota and quota crediting rules for new plan years or any changes during mid-yearEnforce comp plan policies and escalate to Sr. Management as neededEnsure the accuracy of monthly commission calculations and paymentsSuch controls and processes include, but are not limited to, properly upload data into the compensation system and reconcile and resolve any booking discrepancies with FinanceTimely and accurately resolve commissions issues/disputes from field employeesAssist in the development, maintenance and updates to systems and processes critical to the reporting and tracking of compensation and sales team metricsSupport the maintenance and changes to the sales compensation systemReview with Legal, Finance and Sales Ops the Sales Plan Administration and Distribution process including the governance of the T's & C'sQualifications:Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar7 + years' total experience and 5+ years' experience in a sales compensation roleExceptional interpersonal and communication skills Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, vlookups, data modeling etc.)"‹If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.The Solomon Page Distinction Solomon Page offers a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees.
