Job PurposeThe ideal Account Manager candidate will be responsible for driving and growing revenue for CPS America. Working to identify new customers as well as nurturing and growing existing accounts. Developing strong relationships with customers through persistent follow-up and strong customer service. Meet sales quotas and goals, monitor account performance and adjusting your strategy accordingly.Duties and responsibilitiesManaging salesforce, staying up to date and organizedWorking alongside COPS to ensure smooth and efficient process for customersGenerate and drive revenue for CPS AmericaCreate long lasting and impactful relationships with customersFocus on providing exceptional customer serviceManage accounts of all sizes, representing CPS America and its valuesManage day to day client communication addressing the various needs of our customersTravel to visit customers, driving strong relationships between them and CPSProactively remain connected to clients and the ever-changing market to access new search opportunities and ensure all viable clients are engaged on a regular and effective basisQualifications3-7 years of solar related sales and/or engineering experienceBachelor's degree in business, engineering or other related fieldsSolar or related equivalent experiencePrevious experience in driving external salesExperience in carrying a quota and generating revenueGreat time management skills and ability to generate a productive scheduleGreat written and verbal communication skillsHunter versus farmer mentality Persistent in the follow upAmbitious and results drivenCandidate must be located in or near the Chicago areaWorking EnvironmentRemote - 50% travel expected to regularly visit customers and attend tradeshows
