Pay rate is determine based on skills required, years of experience and specific Client requirements. * Required Education: • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Preferred Skills, Experience, and Knowledge: • Familiarity with PeopleSoft or similar ERP systems is preferred • Proficient with the latest software, including Microsoft Office applications • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment • Experience in financial aid, bursar, or administrative operations • Working knowledge of financial aid Title IV regulations and programs Financial Analyst Job Responsibilities: • Assist in weekly reconciliation of Title IV funds, refunding, and FWS payroll. • Support the department in executing and managing weekly disbursement drawdowns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant guidelines. • Coordinate funding and update the database for scholarships and grants. • Execute and analyze queries related to financial aid and student account processes. • Communicate with college staff via email, phone, or Microsoft Teams. • Update reference documentation for staff and review materials for colleges. • Address ACH payment rejections or corrections and update accounts. • Process undelivered refunds and returned checks. • Assist with notifications of outstanding checks and stop payment processes. • Support federal work-study activities, coordinating with colleges and university staff across database modules. • Assist with Form 1098-T Tuition Statement activities and related college inquiries. • Troubleshoot student and college financial aid inquiries. • Perform other duties as assigned.
