Come make a difference with us!Description:The Account Coordinator will deliver extraordinary customer experiences while driving new client acclimation and long-term relationships. This individual is required to execute and deliver on all monthly, quarterly and annual departmental goals and objectives as outlined by their manager.The successful Account Coordinator provides customer support and strong attention to detail for new business clients and internal associates. Must model team commitment by meeting deadlines and by being cooperative, collaborative and flexible.Assist Internal Team (Account Managers/Account Manager Supports/Brokers) with a variety of administrative tasks Ability to use critical thinking skills to overcome objectivesProvide clients with best options available to each individual client/companyEssential Duties and Responsibilities:We are seeking a professional and positive individual with strong written and verbal communication skills. The nature of this team requires a high level of energy and the ability to balance conflicting deadlines and to work under pressure. Other essential requirements and responsibilities include:Gather, organize, and maintain all client employee data to ensure records are current and up-to-dateUnderstands and utilizes various software systems or has the ability to learn new software systems quickly to track prospect and existing client activity; add vital notes as neededWork with carriers to manage enrollments, terminations and other client needsFollow processes and procedures for onboarding new clients and renewing of existing clientsProficient relationship building skills, including the capacity to predict and manage behavior, build and leverage cross-functional partnerships within and outside of the organization, and leverage influential leadershipReport status of clients to Account Manager and ManagerResolve discrepancies in the system and use critical thinking skills to overcome objectivesFollow processes and procedures regarding the online system in a timely and accurate mannerOther duties as prescribed by the ManagerSkills and Knowledge:Experience with a PC and proficiency in MS Office is required with a high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Expert ability to work under demanding time constraints and expectations.Strong attention to detail. Performance Expectations:Attend ongoing department meetings and additional trainings as neededMust display respect in the workplace and exhibit the ability to get along with othersThe ability to have fun while working.40 hours a week - Typically an 8am to 5pm schedule; 3 days in office, 2 days remote (after initial training period is successfully completed). Expert project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities through excellent time managementDemonstrates a commitment to GBS Benefits policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities* Working Conditions / Essential Functions:This position enjoys the benefits and climate control of an office environment. Employees are provided with ergonomically sound workspaces. Work is accomplished at a computer terminal either sitting or standing. Employees must access, input and retrieve information from the computer system. Comfort and efficiency are considered in employee workspaces.
