The NECA Chapter of Wisconsin has an opening for a Member Services Director in Madison, WI. The Wisconsin Chapter is dedicated to enhancing the general interests of electrical contractors within the state and fostering strong relationships with the public. The chapter is comprised of eight divisions, each reflecting different geographical areas across Wisconsin. These divisions work together to address the unique needs and challenges faced by electrical contractors in their respective regions.The Wisconsin Chapter offers a variety of benefits to its members, including educational programs, networking opportunities, and advocacy efforts. The chapter organizes events that provide members with valuable opportunities to connect with industry peers, share knowledge, and stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the electrical contracting industry.One of its key functions is to manage labor relations and union labor contract negotiations, ensuring that the needs and concerns of its members are effectively addressed.The chapter maintains a harmonious and productive relationship with various International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) local unions that represent our members' employees. This collaboration is vital for ensuring smooth labor relations and addressing any issues that may arise between contractors and unions.In addition to contract negotiations, the Wisconsin Chapter is responsible for scheduling and attending all Board of Director meetings and meetings for the chapters divisions. These meetings provide a platform for discussing industry updates, educational opportunities, and networking eventsOverall, the Wisconsin Chapter of NECA plays a vital role in managing labor relations and union labor contract negotiations for electrical contractors in the state. Through its efforts, the chapter ensures that its members have the support and resources they need to succeed in the industry while maintaining positive and productive relationships with labor unions.Requirements:· Bachelor's degree preferred; must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.· Intermediate or Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.· General knowledge of business, finance, economics, and accounting.· Intermediate to Advanced proï¬ciency and ability to learn technology related to event registration and membership.· Ability to maintain professionalism and provide quality customer service to members.· Strong with creating systems and processes.· Experience working with multiple departments, offices, and points of contact.· Ability to travel weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc. as needed.· Professional, motivated, and adaptable, a self-starter; ability to make rational decisions expediently.· Capable of setting priorities when multiple demands are present.· Ability to function both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.· Ability to meet deadlines while demonstrating professionalism under pressure.· Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive information.Responsibilities: The Director of Member Services is responsible for designing and implementing the Wisconsin Chapter's membership growth and retention strategy that aligns with our strategic objectives. The Director is responsible for leading the development, implementation and evaluation of membership growth strategies, as well as day-to-day management of the Chapter's member engagement. Works closely with the Chapter Manager and Assistant Chapter Managers to achieve the goal of Chapter membership while delivering and ensuring the highest level of service to our members. Membership Development and Management· Leads the association's overall efforts to recruit, retain, and engage membership.· Collaborate with Chapter staff and key members to:o Create and execute a strategic plan for member recruitment. o Establish short- and long-range plans and goals to achieve organization membership objectives.o Outline data-driven member engagement, retention, and recruitment strategy and implementation plan.o Develop strategies and programs to stimulate member engagement as a means of membership renewal.· Develop strategies to measure and strengthen member engagement.· Serve as an education liaison to all members by encouraging the use of the various business resources that NECA has.· Work with both staff and members to develop and manage processes for feedback on membership, programs, and services.· Oversight of all membership data, tracking and reporting, including but not limited to:o Research and recommend for purchase IT systems and solutions related to member database, event registration, and event management.o Accurate membership database and records.o Recruitment and retention reports.o Current, new and prospective member information.o Member experience throughout join and renewal process.· Represent NECA with Highest Standard of Professionalism and Customer Service Event Planning· Create and execute a strategic plan to utilize technology for more efficient and effective event registration and management. · Identify the educational needs and topics of interest of members through listening, surveys, and more. · Serves a staff liaison to Chapter staff and members in the planning of events, meetings, development of the agenda, and in the execution of all event activities.· Schedule all member events and educational offerings throughout the year. General · Provide Timely, Accurate, Effective Communication to all parties.· Ensure compliance with the Chapter document retention schedule and ensure destruction of sensitive data. · Oversee Chapter marketing, website, & social media. · Act as Chapter Liaison to the University Student Chapters, Apprenticeship programs, and other outreach as assigned.· Additional projects and duties as assigned.Job Type: Full-time· Monday to Friday, Weekends as needed.· Work Location: In person - Madison, WI · Salary: $75,000 to $95,000 per year· Paid Vacation and PTO· Employer paid Health Insurance· Employer paid Pension Plan· Employer provided Cell Phone· Company Vehicle and moreInterested candidates should submit their resumes to careers@
