Sales Account ManagerRidgway Roof Truss Co., Inc., located in Gainesville, Florida is one of the oldest truss manufacturers in the country. We have been fabricating roof and floor trusses since 1959.Our trusses support structures from Virginia to the Caribbean Islands. We are in search of a professional salesperson to join our team. We have a long history of family values where we take care of our clients, our employees, and our community. We are looking for a servant leader who can get things done, close sales, and take care of our customers.  There is opportunity for growth and we are looking for someone who is committed for the long term. Our current need is because our most senior sales rep of 42 years will be retiring soon and we would like to fill this position.You will be responsible for seeking out new multifamily construction customers, coordinating and delivering quotes, following up and closing sales, coordinating with engineering and operations to ensure the customer requirements are met, and acting as the liaison for customer post sale on any needs or concerns. Our diverse and highly motivated team works in a great, up-beat work environment.  As Sales Account Manager you will play a vital role in ensuring the continued growth of our sales and nurturing key customers for future sales.·        Seek out multifamily construction projects and secure opportunities to bid the trusses.·        Work with internal teams to ensure accurate bids are submitted in a timely manner.·        Work with Owners, Contractors, and Framers to ensure they buy trusses from us.·        Communicate regularly with customers to lead communications with other internal teams and coordinate all post sale needs to include but not limited to engineering requirements, RFIs, deliveries, post delivery concerns, repairs, future work. ·        Stay current on trends in multi-family construction.·        Stay current on trends in truss manufacturing and installation.·        Visit customers, jobsites, and potential customers on a regular basis.Requirements               Experience in multi-family construction               Experience selling in construction field               Knowledgeable in all aspects of wood framing               Ability to read and understand blueprintsAbility to do take offs on construction materialsStrong computer skillsUp to 10% travel, typically car travel in Florida and surrounding states.
