This is a critical leadership role that will drive financial performance, process optimization, and strategic growth for the business.Position Overview:The Director of Finance & Administration will play a pivotal role in the financial management and operational success of our San Francisco Customer Service Center (CSC). This position requires a strategic thinker and hands-on leader with deep expertise in financial planning, analysis, and process implementation.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, business strategy, and cost control with experience in catering, food service, or related industries. You will work closely with senior leadership to establish and implement best practices, financial models, and operational processes that optimize profitability and efficiency.What You'll DoBusiness Strategy & Financial LeadershipProvide high-level financial oversight and strategic focus for the launch and growth of our new San Francisco CSC.Define and implement best-in-class financial processes and systems to ensure operational efficiency.Oversee the successful implementation of Cost-Plus pricing models for North America.Act as a trusted financial advisor to the General Manager and Managing Director, offering strategic insights and recommendations.Financial Planning & AnalysisPrepare and analyze monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, customer profitability reports, budgets, and interim forecasts.Monitor daily performance metrics and analyze operating results to drive business decisions.Ensure complete and accurate customer accounting and financial reporting.Develop and maintain robust internal audit processes to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.Identify and capitalize on cost-saving and revenue-generating opportunities to support financial goals.Drive financial accountability across all functions within the kitchen, from material costs to departmental budgets.Operational & Administrative ExcellenceOversee the development and implementation of scalable financial systems and reporting structures for a new start-up location.Ensure strong inventory management practices that align with financial and operational objectives.Partner with cross-functional leadership teams to support efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement.Implement and maintain SAP or other financial ERP systems to streamline reporting and data accuracy.Leadership & Team DevelopmentEnsure that the finance and administration functions are properly organized, staffed, and directed.Guide, motivate, and develop a high-performing finance team, ensuring they are aligned with company objectives.Provide training and mentorship to management teams to enhance financial literacy and strategic decision-making.Lead cost control initiatives and ensure alignment with company goals and financial targets.What You Bring to the Table✅ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).✅ 7-10 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in financial management.✅ 1-3 years of experience in catering, food service, manufacturing, or related industries preferred.✅ Experience in establishing and implementing financial processes and systems.✅ Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP software required.✅ Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting expertise.✅ Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train management teams.✅ Excellent presentation, organizational, and analytical skills.✅ Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written) to collaborate across teams and levels.
