Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for an experienced Manager of Business Development Operations for a national Home Healthcare Company. Opportunity for Healthcare Business Development Operations Leader for Home Health Care Program. Qualified candidates will have 7+ years of Healthcare Operations and 3+ years Director or Manager level experience within Licensed Home Health Care, Certified Home Health Agency, Long Term Home Health Care Program, Hospice Program or other Healthcare provider. Office location in Fall River, MA.Regional Director of Operations (MA)The role of the Regional Director of Business Development Operations is to implement the business development and operational plans and coordinate all functions of respective branch locations. The primary focus of this role is to develop new business opportunities that lead to organic growth within the branch offices. Essential Job Responsibilities: Develop, monitor implementation and evaluate the annual Business Development, Operational Plan and Contact Strategy Plan for assigned regional branch locations. Implement and assist Office Administrators in implementing marketing activities reflective of goals and objectives outlined in Operational and Contact Strategy Plans. Assist with implementation of new acquisitions. Responsible for referral and intake for Home Health Services within the Fall River, MA Region. Develops strategy and follow up efforts for targeted accounts and contacts.In addition to nursing homes and hospitals, spends time targeting rehab facilities, assisted living facilities, physician practices, law firms, and hospices.Develops relationships with case managers, social workers, physicians, attorneys, wealth managers, geriatric care managers, and other less known potential referral sources.Develop in conjunction with the COO, annual budgets and projection models for branch locations and subsequent P&L management. Ensure full office staff knowledge of annual Operational Plan, Contact Strategy, Budgets and Projections. Manage and educate staff at all levels of the operation and develop required skill sets of staff. Assist COO with negotiations of local service contracts, write RFPs, and grant responses. Implement and monitor all Company policies and procedures for branch locations. Adhere to all applicable Federal, State and local regulations, as well as contract requirements, HIPAA and JCAHO/CAHC/CHAP standards. Participate as a member of the Regional QI team. Hire, train, evaluate, supervise and terminate office support staff for branch locations. As directed by the company implement and monitor terms of any Collective Bargaining Agreement that affects the branch locations. Ensure appropriate in-house staffing levels are maintained by branch. Be available for any emergencies that arise with the daily on-call. Ensure HIPAA regulations are followed. Follow Agency policies and procedures. All other duties as assignedQualifications: Education: Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in a business or health related field. Travel: Travel may be required for business purposes. If so, the employee must have a valid drivers license issued by the state in which they work and a satisfactory driving record.Work Experience: A minimum of five to seven years of home care experience with a Licensed Home Care Service Agency, Certified Home Health Agency, Long Term Home Health Care Program, Hospice Program or other health care provider as defined by particular state regulations. Served in a position that required administrative, operational and supervisor responsibilities. Prior experience in business development for a healthcare organization. Ability to prepare RFPs as required for the region. Superior ability to use computerized systems including Microsoft Office products. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Additional Requirements: Knowledge of all applicable Federal, MA State and local laws and regulatory requirements, with JCAHO/CAHC/CHAP experience preferred.
