Safety Manager - Commercial/Multi-Family Construction

Job **We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee and implement safety programs for a top General Contractor with commercial and multi-family construction projects. This role is located in Savannah, GA. A Safety Manager must ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and industry best practices to create a secure work environment for all employees, subcontractors, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to risk mitigation.Key *Safety Program * Develop, implement, and enforce company safety policies, procedures, and training programs.Site Inspections & * Conduct regular site safety inspections to identify hazards, ensure compliance with OSHA standards, and recommend corrective actions.Incident Investigation & * Lead investigations for accidents, near-misses, and safety violations, providing detailed reports and recommendations for prevention.Compliance * Ensure all job sites comply with federal, state, and local safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements.Training & * Conduct safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and orientations for employees and subcontractors.Emergency * Develop and oversee emergency response plans, first aid programs, and crisis management protocols.PPE & Equipment * Ensure the proper use and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.Qualifications & ** Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
