The Sales Engineer will drive sales, build customer relationships, and provide technical expertise to clients in the wastewater treatment industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proven sales record.This is your opportunity to join a company offering a competitive salary, and benefits. You will be primarily responsible for assisting established sales professionals in the selling of process equipment to the municipal and industrial water and wastewater markets. The municipal market will be the primary market.**Bachelors degree in Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.Proven experience in process sales within the water and wastewater industry - 3 years minimum requirementStrong understanding of water treatment processes and equipment.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.Willingness to travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and visit project sites.Travel - 50%+ within the State of AlabamaMain Office located in Warrior, AL - applicant to preferably live in the central Alabama area. Travel within the territory required. Valid drivers license required. Drug and alcohol test required.Key **Develop a comprehensive understanding of our water and wastewater treatment solutions.Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients, addressing their unique water treatment challenges and recommending suitable products and services.Identify and target potential water and wastewater industry clients, including municipal authorities, consulting firms, and industrial enterprises.Develop and execute effective sales strategies.Offer technical support, conduct product demonstrations, and provide tailored solutions to meet client requirements.Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests for proposals.Collaborate with the sales and engineering team to provide technical support to clients.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products in the water and wastewater sector.
