Our dynamic workplace provides continuous training and growth opportunities to help our employees succeed.Through our company's continued growth and desire to better serve our customers, we are currently seeking an Equipment Sales Representative to join our team in Mason City, IA.The Equipment Sales Representative generates new business, ensures growth of existing accounts, and assesses the potential application of Company products and/or services to offer solutions that meet customer needs.Primary Responsibilities:Identifies prospective customers by cold calling, using business directories, following up on leads, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferencesInitiates sales campaign and establishes marketing guidelines to meet sales expectationsAnswers customers' questions about product features, prices, availability, capabilities and limitations, and credit termsMaintains customer recordsDocuments calls in a weekly call reportDocuments expenses in a weekly expense reportPrepares sales contracts for orders obtained and submits orders for processingInforms customers of estimated delivery schedules, service contracts, warranties, or other information pertaining to purchased productsCoordinates transportation of equipment to customer locationsVisits customer sites to evaluate needs and to promote productsExperience:High school diploma or general education diploma(GED)Five to 10 years of proven outside sales experience in compact or agricultural equipment or similar industryCold calling experienceSkills:Written and verbal communication skillsMicrosoft Office skillsStrong organizational skillsExcellent customer follow-up and responsiveness skills, people-orientedAbilities:Sales driven, aggressive, and self-motivatedCommunicate information and ideas while speaking and presentingLoad and chain down equipmentFrequently operate skid steers, excavators, lawn mowers, and trucks and trailersWorking Conditions:This job operates in a professional office environment and out in the fieldThis role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.60-75% local travelBenefits:Competitive CompensationHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceHSA with Company Matching401(k) with Company ContributionCompany-Paid Life and Short-Term Disability Insurance Long-Term Disability InsuranceHoliday Pay and PTO
