Overview:The BD/Sales team at U Power is responsible for commercialization of the company's EV products, solutions, and applications, as well as core subsystems and technologies.U Power is looking for a Sr. Director of Business Development and Sales to help expand customer engagement and sales in the North American market.As Sr. Director of Business Development and Sales you will;Establish a BD/sales team for U Power in the AmericasCollect market intelligence, local market requirements, and collaborate with cross-function teams to localize U Power's global product portfolioIdentify key partners to work with U Power and localize manufacturing capacity via CKD or SKD approachEstablish friendly public relations with media, local partners, and federal/state transportation authoritiesOversee development of sales and distribution networks, monitor and enhance sales and distribution network profitability, and provide necessary support to sales and distribution networksThis is a remote or local position located in Sunnyvale, CA. With the possibility of travel based on business needsQualifications:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsRich working experience in business development and salesSelf-motivated, driven, "can do" spiritGood cross-cultural communication and coordination skillsMinimum 10 years experience in the automotive industryCommercial vehicle sales experiences are highly valuedExperience managing vehicle dealership/distributor networksExperience working with commercial fleet ownersPerks & Benefits:Paid Vacation, Holidays, & Sick DaysCompany Paid Health, Dental, and Vision401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with company matching up to 5%Annual Performance-Based BonusesThe salary range for this fulltime position is $150,000 - $300,000, with the composition being 50% base, 50% on-target commission + bonus. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and experience. This role includes a 3 month probationary period. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries.
