Learn more at Project Coordinator/Inside SalesCommercial HVAC material supplier in Orlando, FL has an immediate opening for an Project Coordinator/Inside Sales Assistant to provide inside technical support. Our goal is to effectively promote sales of HVAC equipment in the commercial construction market and to deliver unparalleled service to our customers. Day-to-day tasks would include assisting Outside Sales Engineers to provide timely estimates of HVAC material, after-sale project management and exceptional customer support. Hands-on training is provided.JOB SUMMARY: This position will assist Outside Sales Engineers with estimating, project management and customer service to an extensive customer account list.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSComprehension of construction plans and specifications: ability to do material take-offs, select material on core products based on specifications, price material using manufacturer software, write a quotation to distribute to customer.Post-sale job management: ability to book a job, set up and manage a job file; understand the submittal process, order entry with factories and warehouse, complete the electronic billing sheet; expedite orders; process freight claims; process factory invoices and stock sales.Relationship building with customers and factory personnel; liaison for Outside Sales EngineerInteractive communication with Outside Sales Engineer, factory representatives and customer personnel to facilitate meeting project deadlines and customer needsMulti-tasking and prioritizing daily tasks to provide unparalleled customer serviceTake-off material from mechanical drawings using OST, understanding the importance of drawing notes/details.Select material and equipment on core products, based on specifications and schedulesPrice take-offs using manufacturer pricing software/dataWrite a scope letter/quotation for distribution to customer(s)Assist the Quotation Department with quoting jobsMentor quote jobs when neededBook a job, set up and manage a job file (manual/electronic) including proper documentation of notes & correspondenceUnderstand freight claims; how to deal with damaged or shorted shipmentsProcess factory invoices/billing to customersProcess stock salesUnderstand credit application processProcess credit card transactions/ forward order(s) as neededBuild professional relationships with customers & factory personnel; be a liaison for Outside SalesExecute responsibilities with speed, accuracy and efficiencyPerform timely intial review of plans and specification and send to approprate factories for quotesSubmit Prior Approval requests, in a timely mannerMaintain and coordinate branch bid listBenefits:Competitive Salary plus Profit Sharing Yearend BonusMedical Insurance (effective start date), Health Savings Account (HSA) with Company contributions, Dental, Group Life, Short-term & Long-term Disability Insurance; Voluntary Benefits: Supplemental Life, Accident, Critical Illness, Legal Assistance and Vision Insurance offerings401(k) Retirement Plan with Company profit sharing match (effective start date)Paid time off!About TBCo:Founded in 1955, Tom Barrow Company is the exclusive sales representative for major manufacturers of HVAC products that are utilized on commercial, institutional and industrial construction projects.
