***** A leading provider or material processing solutions is looking to add a Key Account Manager to their growing team of passionate, talented individuals! This individual will be responsible for acquiring new high-potential accounts, maintaining and expanding current customer accounts, and serve as an advisor for existing client base. As a Key Account Manager, your primary role will be to retain top customers, acquire new high-potential accounts, and nurture those key relationships over time. Youll become a strategic partner to the customer, leveraging your skills in closing sales, cultivating relationships, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership.Responsibilities and **Serve as key point of contact for customer base - must excel at communicating in person, over the phone, via email, and across departments as the liaison for the customer and the company.Develop a strong understanding of company's product line and capabilities in order to identify sales opportunities and drive revenue growth.Create long-term sales plans/objectives and prioritize long-term strategies aligned with company and client objectives. Identify new business opportunities with both new and existing accounts.Utilize technical background and training to deliver tailored and client-specific solutions utilizing company's product in order to expand sales opportunities. Manage multiple accounts, assignments, and account plans with strong time management and organizational skills.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understand their business needs, and ensure their satisfaction with products or services.Conduct regular business reviews and performance analyses for key accounts, providing valuable insights and recommendations.Compile reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts.Stay updated with industry trends and market developments, anticipate changes in clients needs, and tailor solutions to meet evolving requirements.Meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets for your key accounts.Job ** Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, or related engineering or physical science degree. 5 years of experience working in technical sales or key account management. Proven success working in a sales role - ideally within sales which require problem solving based on client needs. Experience using MS Office and CRM.Strong time management and organizational skills in order to manage multiple accounts simultaneously. Strong communication skills and ability to present oneself professionally in front of clients. ***** Commission earnings added to annual salary after first year of employment to allow for training and scaling up the hired individual.
