Job **The Port Manager is responsible for managing and establishing relationships with local authorities and service providers in ports globally. This role ensures our vessels are serviced effectively within the constraints of local rules, regulations, and customary practices, while observing company policies and guidelines. The Manager drives objectives to support KPIs and financial expectations.Key *Manage operational requirements for vessels to receive effective services in assigned regions globally.Maintain relationships with local authorities (e.g., Customs and Immigration, port authorities) and various service providers (e.g., port agencies, cruise terminal operators, stevedore and security companies, transportation services).Adapt swiftly and intuitively to changing external and internal factors impacting strategies and plans, driving all parties for the best outcome.Ensure vendor performance meets contracted and agreed-upon standards, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance operations from an effective and cost-saving perspective.Ensure all port activities supporting company vessels in assigned regions are performed within set guidelines, performance standards, and budgetary constraints.Verify performance of various port operations against departmental objectives; analyze and prepare reports to verify effectiveness and drive required improvements.Coordinate vendor services according to contracts and agreements to meet company requirements.Assist in the annual budget preparation and monthly review process.Participate in the planning, development, and management of port operation programs and vessel deployment and itineraries.Desired *5+ years in a port-related management and/or marine operationPast leadership experience Holding a BS or BA in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Logistics, or equivalent experience Multi-lingual Proficient in Microsoft Office ApplicationsPivot Tables and Power BI experience Benefits and ***$45-52/hourExact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
