This role plays a key part in maintaining and growing the volume of business with key carriers.ResponsibilitiesSolicit potential and existing carriers to cover customer ordersDispatching, Tracking and Tracing of shipments with carriersMaintaining carrier relationships and growing business volumeCarrier sourcing, recruitment, development, and managementDevelop trusted advisor relationships with carrier contactsIdentify and grow opportunities and collaborate with sales teamsProspect new carriersUnderstand transportation systems and company softwareSupport A/R functions for timely paymentAchieve budgeted targets for cases/loads and profitCommunicate effectively with General Manager and sales teamLive the Mission, Vision, and Values of the companyQualificationsPositive attitudeConfident and persistentCreative ability and imaginationAbility to work under pressureExcellent presentation and demonstration skillsCommand of PC Windows environment including Microsoft OfficeHigh level of interpersonal skillsExcellent analytical, problem resolution, negotiating, and project management skillsStrong organizational skillsPay range and compensation packageBase salary plus Bonus; ***** $50-60K Base salary.
