Parts Sales ManagerLocation: The position will be based in the Melrose Park, Illinois office location with minimal travel. Reports to: Vice President - Sales & MarketingDirect Reports: Approximately six (6) to eight (8) Parts Account Managers, Parts Sales Coordinators, & Data Entry Personnel.Position OverviewPower Services Group (PSG) is a rapidly growing company focused on the power generation industry. Over the next five years our parts sales are expected to experience significant growth. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is goal driven, enjoys leading a team to achieving goals, and can improve overall efficiency of our parts sales efforts. We require an organized, self-motivated individual that can manage the personnel on the Parts Sales team at our Melrose Park, Illinois location, as well work with the broader PSG Sales Team members to grow the overall business, which includes steam turbine services, repairs, and parts. PSG grows sales through the development of relationships with operators of power generation equipment. Power Generating equipment requires regular maintenance, repair, and parts replacement. The PSM would drive each team member to achieve their goals and objectives, as well as report on progress-to-goal for each objective. The position will consist of assisting individual team members with problem resolution, removing roadblocks to success for team members, making the overall processes more efficient - all as part of achieving our overall sales objectives.The Parts Sales Manager (PSM) will directly manage the Parts Account Managers, Parts Sales Coordinators, and Data Entry personnel. The PSM will be responsible for managing the team to achieve our Parts Sales Revenue and Profit Goals - reporting on individual team member progress to goal monthly, and company progress to goal on a weekly basis. The position will also be responsible for all Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly parts sales reporting to the company. This reporting includes, but is not limited to, weekly reporting of revenue goals, high revenue open quotation updates, and individual team member Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Revenue Goal and KPI reporting will also be reported on a monthly and quarterly basis. Revenue allocations among team members will be performed monthly.In addition to the reporting noted above, duties will include daily meetings with estimation personnel to ensure strategic and competitive pricing as well as creation of thorough and quality proposals that meet customer's needs. Revenue growth of our parts sales division is a requirement, and improvement of our proposal win percentages will be a key metric measured monthly. Opportunity pipeline and KPI reviews are to be performed weekly with each team member, and monthly one-on-one meetings with individual team members will be required.
