Please note this role requires being on site in Jacksonville 3 days a week.The idea candidate will have sales and business development experience working with vehicle OEMs.The Key Account Manager is responsible for the coordination of sales activities related to OEM customers. The Key Account Manager will support the relevant sales organization (global/regional/local) in the drive to identify new business, structure account sales initiatives and coordinate account tenders.The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the key account plan. The Key Account Manager will have a close collaboration with the Heads of Sales, other Key Account Managers, Head of Contracts and Tender execution, the Chief Sales Officer and other members of the executive Management team.Reporting to:Head of Sales - North AmericaMandate:Responsible for coordination of all Account Tenders.Responsible for developing the commercial account strategy and in developing the customer interface.Support the development of the trade plans.Ensure a global structured Account Sales approach.Support the development of the brand of the company and the service deliverance to the customer.Key Role Interactions:Head of Sales Key account membersSales organizationCustomer Experience membersTrade ManagersChief Sales OfficerMain responsibilities:Account StrategyResponsible for the coordination of all tenders.Support the implementation of market and business development strategies related to the accountResponsible for gathering proactive commercial forecasts related to the accountCoordinate account input to the trade plansResponsible for recommendation of account business improvement and new business opportunitiesResponsible for a unified Global Sales impact towards the account.Commercial ImpactDesign and implement a robust account Sales StructureResponsible for coordination of the Key account teamAssist in planning, facilitate and execute strategic business planning process across all regionsAssist in Identifying new opportunities, to develop new client relationships and create business proposalsEnsure the best possible account tenders coordination and tender follow up.OrganizationResponsible for the key account teamResponsible for CRM information integrityShall ensure implementation and compliance of the company policies and procedure or Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality Management System as required by ISO 9001,14001&45001 within the organization/ departmentQualifications:Education/experienceBachelor degree or equivalent in Business, Finance or MaritimeMinimum five years of experience within the shipping industry with proven ability to drive changeCommercial experience from the shipping industry and Ro/Ro.
