Job DescriptionThe Territory Sales Manager will support Kitchen Cabinet Distributors in Raleigh, NC market and an extended territory within North Carolina. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and ensuring sales targets are met through new business development and growing existing accounts. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for working with the Regional Sales Manager or Director of Sales, in creating strategic growth plans for the territory and provide clear directions to execute on things such as product development, promotions, and pricing ResponsibilitiesDrive sales across assigned house accountsWork with other field sales reps to drive initiatives. Support the internal Customer Care team as needed in complex situations.Provide general support, insight, and market knowledge to the sales & marketing team.Identify and capture market opportunities across customer and geographic segments.Establish sales objectives, forecasts and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans and feedback loops.Maintain strong working knowledge of the competitive market and develop plans to capture competitive market share.Develop and maintain weekly schedule for customer visits.Quickly respond to new customer leads in the territory and provide qualification information back to the sales management team.Successfully onboard new customers through training on products, services, and systems.Translate sales strategy into tactical sales plans and then execute on established sales plans.QualificationsExceptional drive and team-oriented mindset with a demonstrated history of setting goals and doing whatever is needed to exceed them.Entrepreneurial mindset (i.e., willing to think creatively to find effective methods for getting the job done with limited resources and a willingness to pitch in wherever and whenever the team needs help for the betterment of the overall business).Good working knowledge of sales management techniques.Strong leadership, administrative, organizational, managerial and communication skills. Strong analytical ability to gather and interpret information and develop, recommend, and implement solutions. Requires rapid and thorough independent decision making and creative problem-solving skills, good judgment as well as the ability to accept personal and departmental accountability for areas of responsibility.PC skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience utilizing a CRM system.Five plus years of sales experience or other related experience. Demonstrable success in driving sales growth in a B2B environment.Experience managing large, professional corporate or regional accounts.Experience in the Building Materials industry.College degree in business administration or sales and marketing preferred.
