But when done properly, the right person, can supercharge their income potential in a short period of time.Our company is young and hungry with the necessary commitment from ownership to step on the gas pedal.About the Role: The External Sales/Wholesaler, along with their internal team member, will support and grow Potomacs tactical investment strategies and mutual fund business to financial intermediaries at Broker Dealers like LPL, Cambridge, and Cetera via TAMPs throughout our industry like MWP, Envestnet, OPS, Altruist, etc.Qualifications: Must live in the designated sales territory. (Northern CA, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, AK) Preferably in the San Fransisco Bay Area.Must have or be willing to acquire licensing: Series 6 or 7, SIE, and either 65, 66 or CFP.Minimum of 3 years as a mutual fund/VA separate account external or internal wholesaler as an Internal in this industry.Must have in-depth working knowledge and experience with mutual funds and separate accounts.Demonstrated ability to make successful and dynamic sales presentations.Self-driven: able to manage territory budget and operate autonomously.Separate managed accounts experience.Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.Preference for established relationships in the TAMP channel and region.Responsibilities: Represent all products distributed and marketed by Potomac within the territory.Drive sales by developing, maintaining, and deepening relationships with new and existing advisors. Influence advisor choices within a consultative sales process.Partner with an internal wholesaler to develop a business plan, manage the territory, and drive regional sales goals and objectives.Identify advisor needs and provide investment and business solutions.Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners (e.g., marketing, senior leaders, field leaders).Manage administrative responsibilities according to company policies including, travel and expenses, CRM updates, calendar and schedules, conference call participation, email retention, continuing education, and other requirements.About Potomac: In the past five years, Potomac has grown from under $140M+ to nearly $2B in AUM.
