An amenities-rich, luxury senior living community in Silicon Valley (Sunnyvale) is in search of a highly motivated Director of Sales to drive revenue, develop internal and external marketing initiatives and build strategic relationships to ensure its on-going financial success. Qualified candidates should come from the senior living industry and already reside in the local area. This is an exceptional opportunity with a premier company, and a fast-growing player in the industry, which represents significant opportunity for career development and advancement. Compensation for this position is up to $92k base + lucrative incentives, conservatively averaging $4,500 per month, plus excellent benefits. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement sales events and strategies designed to increase resident censusPrepare operational and financial sales department reportsDirectly coordinate cross-selling and joint marketing initiatives to maximize exposure and profitabilityCommunicate appropriately with and residents and their family members to ensure understanding of services and on-going satisfaction with careCollaborate with operations leaders and occasionally assist in other areas of the community, as needed QualificationsResidence in the local area3+ years of experience within the senior living industry, with at least one year in a sales positionDedication, passion and a positive, get it done attitudeStrong leadership skillsFamiliarity with California compliance guidelinesFamiliarity with limitations of care Professional appearance and polished communication skills
