CornerStone Staffing has partnered with the City of Dallas to find an experienced Senior Real Estate Specialist to oversee real estate acquisitions and leasing for public improvement projects. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful real estate initiatives that directly impact the City of Dallas. Job Posting: Senior Real Estate Specialist Location: Downtown Dallas Pay: $20/hour Key Responsibilities The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing high-value and real estate transactions while ensuring compliance with legal standards and protecting the City's interests. Lead property acquisitions, including land, houses, and right-of-way transactions; initiate and negotiate agreements with property owners to align with city objectives. Conduct legal research on property ownership, zoning, and easements; oversee condemnation proceedings and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Manage the closing process, collaborate with title companies, and handle financial transactions; collect, organize, and maintain required documentation for legal and internal records. Prepare and submit funding requests, maintain project databases, and create reports and presentations for City officials, Council Members, and external stakeholders. Knowledge and Skills Required Experience: Minimum four (4) years in general real estate transactions, project management, or contract management. Expertise: Strong knowledge of real estate appraisals, acquisitions, leasing, condemnation, and licensing. Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with eminent domain, property condemnation procedures, real estate contracts, title company processes, and closings. Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating with various stakeholders. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with property owners and customers. Equivalencies: High school diploma/GED plus eight (8) years of relevant experience Associate degree in any field plus six (6) years of relevant experience Bachelor's degree in a non-specified field plus six (6) years of relevant experience Master's degree in a specified field plus two (2) years of relevant experience Application Process Includes: Skills Testing Drug Testing Background Check
