Client is open to candidates residing in Orange County and also San Diego (sole territory owner)Who They Are:Our client is a highly respected electrical and lighting wholesale company that is adding a new Outside Salesperson in Orange County due to growth! (They are also adding an Inside Salesperson.) They care about their team members and provide a supportive, positive work environment. As their Outside Sales Rep, youll play a key role in generating new business opportunities for the company and be a part of building a world-class sales development function.What Youll Do:Build relationships and ensure client needs are met in order to grow business. This will include:Getting the word out: Prospecting/cold calling customers through strategizing and with support of information from their internal database, networking, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.Target market includes Electrical and General Contractors, large commercial properties and local Developers. Ideally, you have current relationships in this market.Face Time: Youll be traveling throughout Orange County to call on regular and prospective customers to grow business, presenting to prospects & clients at their business location.Follow Through: Create effective follow up using phone, email, CRM and in-person approach to manage and organize territory. We pride ourselves in strong client communication!What you'll need to excel:We are seeking a strategic thinker with a strong drive to succeed through hunting and cold calling. Excellent time management skills and being highly motivated will benefit you as well. Other things you'll need:Existing relationships with area electrical contractors is a must!Have worked for an electrical or lighting wholesaler2+ yrs of Sales experience (your sales record is more important than years on the job.
