About the JobOur Account Manager is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key enterprise customers. This includes responding to customer inquiries, maintaining customer engagement, and ensuring smooth sales operations. The role provides a unique opportunity to be a key team member in a small, dynamic company with significant opportunities for professional growth.Artisan Power is interviewing now for an Account Manager with a start date in March/April 2025. This is a hybrid position that requires being in the office for the first three months. From there, we expect office attendance three days per week and attendance for mandatory in-office meetings, training, and other events.Who Are We?Artisan Power is a family-run enterprise that specializes in manufacturing and distributing high-quality rechargeable batteries that keep mission-critical devices running without interruption.We have a strong market track record for high product quality and service reliability. ~95% of our product is able to ship the same day, and we have a Our B2B channel services enterprise clients in a number of industries including medical, logistics, retail and safety. We operate with a "farm-to-table" model that ensures the freshest batteries for our customers.The Account Manager RoleCustomer Account Management:Respond to customer inquiries with kindness and attention to detail to leave a positive impression of the Artisan Power brand and ensure a positive customer experience.Help to create quotes, price lists, and marketing material for existing customers.Assist in setting up new customers in the Artisan Power system, manage and respond to quote requests and provide additional information when required.Customer Engagement and Retention:Actively engage key accounts, understand purchase history, and identify patterns and trends, proactively reach out to key accounts to maintain and grow the relationship.Conduct monthly account reviews to evaluate the performance of key accounts and proactively reach out to these accounts.Manage relationships with GSA and maintain catalog accuracy.Manage sales incentives and promotions and evaluate their performanceAssist in the ideation and execution of email campaigns to promote specific products or product lines.Sales Operations:Optimize the sales team infrastructure in collaboration with the B2B team.Track and document customer communications, including:New product opportunitiesIndustry insightsCustomer and product feedbackCustomer Billing and Invoicing:Manage existing customer billing processes, ensuring invoices are sent promptly and payment reminders are issued as necessary.Oversee the prioritization, communication, and completion of customer-related projects and orders.Who Are You?You excel at building and maintaining customer relationships and delivering high-touch customer service.You are organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.You have a track record of working independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.You have strong communication skills and can effectively manage both inbound and outbound customer interactions.You are comfortable working with CRM systems and have strong technical proficiency.You are results- and process-oriented, identifying and implementing best practices to optimize sales operations.You are interested in working at a small, growing, family-business with strong work-life balance and culture.You are a team player who is willing to work in different roles to "get the job done".Essential QualificationsNo experience is necessary provided there is a demonstrated willingness to learn, attention-to-detail and strong communication skills1-3 years of professional experience in account management, customer service, or sales operations is a plus, preferably in a B2B environment.Strong organizational and writing skillsProficiency with CRM systems and general comfort with technology.Must be located near our offices in Natick, MA, or near New York, NY.Company BenefitsA collaborative team with a strong work-life balance and immediate ability to impact the organizationSignificant room for growth including potential for support to build sales teamAs a valued Full Time employee, you will receive Medical, Vision, and Dental benefits, 401k with a Company Match
