Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Product Planning Engineer (Onsite) to join our Golf Car team in Kennesaw, GA. The Product Planning Engineer will ensure the smooth and consistent development of Golf Car (GC) Accessory Plans and provide technical expertise to internal and external customers for applications of Golf Car Accessories. They will take a leadership role in the areas of consumer and competitor research, Quality Function Deployment (QFD) development, analyzing results and ensuring integration of research results into current and future GC accessory plans.What you'll be doing:Achieve sales targets on an annual basis. Manage and grow sales and accounts Nationwide to achieve both wholesale and retail sales goals.Prospect and develop new Accounts both in and out of the golf industry as well as service the Accounts to ensure their continued success.Add Management Companies that YGC has not previously done business with by working directly with their management team(s).Establish strategic relationships, demonstrate strong customer service and effective management of Accounts.Identify any operational issues that might arise and escalates to senior management to resolve them with the appropriate internal teams.Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs.Develop relationships with key stakeholders and act as the point of contact for national clients.Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.What you'll need to be successful:High School Diploma or Equivalent required. College Degree is Preferred but not necessary.7+ years of Sales or Sales Management Experience.Computer Skills, MS Office, Excel, Power PointDriver's License with a clean Driving RecordAbility travel 60%, including weekendsSolid experience in sales and customer service.In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics.Excellent analytical and organizational skills.Experience with the Golf Industry preferred and is a plus.Don't meet every single requirement?
