BASIC PURPOSE: Responsible for collaborating with the assigned Sales Directors to develop business and achieve established sales goals. Also assists travel agency partners with sales and service needs, acting as a liaison between sales and other departments. Within corporate guidelines, support Sales Directors by creating a positive perception of the company, provide excellent service and consistent communication.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate with Sales Director and assigned accounts by maintaining communication and proactively generating revenue.Execute sales initiatives for assigned accounts, including creating marketing materials such as flyers and custom ads.Identify and communicate with Sales Director outbound call efforts to support and further identify sales opportunities for the company. Outbound sales calls include but are not limited to - Option pipeline calls, Agency maintenance calls, group follow up, OCU follow up and any other calls identified as a revenue generating opportunity.Respond to incoming call inquiries within your Sales Director regions related to sales policy, marketing promotions and reservation issues; proactively manages requests and evaluates possible courses solutions and acts accordingly.Assist with group efforts including but not limited to the higher materialization, concessions, marketing and allocations.Partner with Revenue Management, Guest Relations and Guest Services to implement sales and service solutions.Assist with trade shows, seminars, ship inspections and other sales-related functions, including sales calls as appropriate (occasional traveling and evening event hosting required).Conduct product training identified by Sales Director to customers via Zoom or live presentation.Educate agency partners within assigned region on OCI programs, promotions and products.Act as liaison between Sales Director and travel agency partners - return telephone calls and answer e-mail on behalf of Sales Directors.Provide administrative support to Sales Director as needed.Assist respective Sales Director with co-op process and PMF entries ensuring that all expenses are correctly entered, and monthly reconciliation are accurate and timely.KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:EDUCATION: Associate degree in sales/marketing, business administration or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience.EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years experience with outside sales, making outbound sales calls or customer service experience. Travel/cruise industry experience preferred. Sales experience with luxury consumer products, preferred.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Sales skills necessary to develop and generate business from assigned accounts. Excellent phone etiquette and phone presence to maximize sales opportunities. Able to meet deadlines and work within a fast paced, multi-tasked environment. High attention to detail and sense of urgency. Proactive work ethic and team player with a positive attitude and independent thinker empowered to make decisions without immediate supervision. Customer service oriented, professional and friendly demeanor. Possess strong written and verbal communication along with presentation skills. In depth knowledge of NVS (or equivalent) reservations system. Working knowledge of CRM system. Working knowledge of Zoom, GoToMeeting or another related virtual platform. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, One Note, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Knowledge of Sales & Marketing tools and processes.
