Job ***** Senior Specialist, Systems Engineer Job ***** 20438 Job ***** Mason, OH ***** 9/80 (with every other Friday off) This position may be eligible for relocation Job ***** As a Systems Engineer Senior Specialist in EO/IR sensors, you will have the opportunity to work various programs solving our customer's most difficult technical challenges. You could support planning activities to address development activity processes and procedures. You could be the technical lead of the program team, perform technical planning, design, analysis, implementation, system integration, validation and verification. Analyses are performed at all levels to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. This position supports the Integrated Mission Systems (IMS) Segment, a great team of talented professionals with world class technical expertise who take a collaborative approach to engineering and enjoy working together. Essential ***** Lead or be part of a SEIT (Systems Engineering and Integration & Test) team that completes technical planning, system design/architecture, system integration, validation, and verification activities in support of programs and development efforts. Systems Analysis Systems Evaluation "” Identify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance relative to the goals of the system. Demonstrated experience with designing, developing, testing, and delivering Demonstrated experience in the architecture, requirements, implementation, simulation, test, verification, validation, and debugging Demonstrated complex problem solving and decision making "” Able to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions; able to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate solution Must have the ability to obtain a DoD security cleatance Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Physics, or related Engineering discipline with a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. Ability to travel 10% Must be a US Citizen Preferred Additional ***** Demonstrated experience leading a team or project within the EO/IR (Electro-Optical/Infra-Red) sensor field Demonstrated experience in a technical displine supporting EO/IR sensor or component work Experience writing BOEs and supporting proposals Demonstrated experience in Model Based Systems Engineering Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work well with internal and/or external stakeholders Prior systems engineering experience on at least two programs Knowledge of military and/or NASA component specifications, design processes, and hardware test/verification procedures.
