That's why we're seeking an energetic, experienced individual to serve as a LED Sales Engineer who will be responsible for generating new business through a skillset of sales/relationship prospecting, presenting, negotiating, closing, and managing relationships with clients.As AP Live's LED Sales Engineer, you will:Drive Sales & Client Acquisition: Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities by reaching out to prospective clients, including event organizers, trade show managers, and corporate marketing teams.Collaborate on Sales Strategies: Work directly with the Director of Client Engagement to develop and execute sales strategies that align with business objectives and contribute to new revenue streams.Client Consultations & Presentations: Actively engage with potential clients to understand their unique needs. Work alongside the Director on customized presentations, showcasing how our LED tile solutions align with their event goals.Negotiation & Deal Closing: Actively collaborate with the Director in negotiations and closing sales, ensuring client contracts reflect their needs while exceeding company revenue goals. Work closely with the Director to finalize terms and secure successful deal closures.Ongoing Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key client stakeholders to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.Industry Networking & Market Insight: Stay informed on industry trends and developments. Attend events and foster relationships with potential clients and industry influencers to stay ahead of market demands.Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work alongside the Director and other internal teams to craft tailored solutions for clients, ensuring seamless execution of projects.Reporting & CRM Management: Utilize CRM software to track sales pipelines, client activities, and opportunities. Provide regular updates on sales progress, client feedback, and emerging strategies.Contribute to Marketing & Strategy: Participate in brainstorming sessions for business development, offering insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Help shape the marketing strategies that support sales and client engagement goals.Required Skills & Experience:2+ years of experience in sales or client engagement, preferably within the events, trade show, or experiential marketing sectors. Onsite technical experience with LED is also preferred.Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Proven track record of working independently with a drive to exceed sales goals. Highly motivated to succeed in a fast-paced, competitive environment.Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the skill to articulate ideas persuasively to clients and internal teams.Relationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients, ensuring they feel valued and remain loyal.Sales Expertise: Full sales cycle experience, including prospecting, presenting, negotiating, and closing deals. A consultative sales approach is essential.Time Management & Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, leads, and client accounts simultaneously.Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace for managing sales processes, communications, and reporting. Willingness to learn CAD software.Negotiation & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to negotiate effectively and overcome obstacles during the sales process, ensuring client satisfaction and achieving business goals.Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel to client meetings and industry events as needed.COMPENSATION:Base Salary based on experience and existing industry relationships.Commission will be paid on gross sales.Company Paid Time Off (PTO)Medical BenefitsCell Phone AllowanceTime Commitment: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
