Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Horticulture, or equivalent experience.Experience:Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.At least 3 years of B2B sales experience.Licenses/Certifications:Valid drivers license as required by state and federal law.Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) or relevant certifications are a plus.Skills:Strong customer service skills for both internal and external clients.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with extensive travel within the assigned territory.Experience with commercial property managers is a plus.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with advanced presentation abilities for large groups.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.Intermediate proficiency in CRM software.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and draw conclusions.Ability to understand and interpret business publications.Ability to follow various forms of instructions, including written, oral, diagrams, and schedules.Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending English.Physical Requirements:Must frequently talk, hear, see, sit, stand, and walk.Regularly required to drive short to long distances.Must possess excellent visual acuity, including close and distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Frequent use of hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.Regularly required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb, and balance.Occasionally required to lift and move up to 25 pounds.Work Conditions:Frequent travel within the assigned territory.Occasionally works with mechanical objects and in various weather conditions.Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and potentially hazardous chemicals.Occasional exposure to loud noise levels.Essential Duties:Collaborate with Operations management to develop, present, and negotiate service portfolios to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.Track and manage opportunities through the client database for sales visibility to management.Generate job estimates and bid proposals, including scope of work, site boundaries, and labor/material estimates in cooperation with operations.Respond to client Requests for Proposal (RFPs) promptly and professionally.Meet or exceed annual sales targets.Attend RFP pre-bid meetings and proposal presentations.Maintain key client relationships to identify and capitalize on networking and sales opportunities.Represent the company at trade shows, association events, and meetings to engage with existing and potential clients.Manage the sales promotions budget.Ensure smooth transitions from contract signing to fulfillment by coordinating initial meetings and site walk-throughs with clients and operations teams.Perform additional duties as assigned.
