The Sales Manager will drive new business growth by delivering customized supply chain solutions to meet diverse client needs. Focusing on expanding JUSDA's presence in the market, this role emphasizes air, ocean, and fulfillment services to serve high-value industries, including electronics, manufacturing, and automotive (EV). This individual will be responsible for cultivating new accounts and building strong, value-driven relationships both externally with clients and internally across teams. Success in this role will depend on the ability to deeply understand client needs, respond proactively to industry trends, and align JUSDA's solutions with the evolving requirements of our US-Mexico and US/Mexico-Asia trade lanes.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Relationship Development:Maintain accurate records of prospecting and sales activities within Salesforce CRM.Serve as a trusted advisor by gaining a deep understanding of each client's business and offering logistics solutions that create competitive advantages.Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to keep JUSDA's solutions relevant and valuable to customers.Continuously adapt strategies to meet changing customer needs, ensuring long-term business growth.Value Articulation & Solution Design:Collaborate with operations to monitor lead times for inbound and outbound shipments and provide accurate, timely updates to customers.Articulate the value of JUSDA's comprehensive service offerings, including air, ocean, and fulfillment, to meet each client's unique business needs and priorities, with a focus on key trade lanes from the US to Mexico and between the US/Mexico and Asia.Drive customer satisfaction through consistent communication of JUSDA's value, highlighting ROI and process improvements tailored to client objectives.Proactively identify continuous improvements to drive cost savings and efficiency gains for customers.Leadership & Coordination:Work cross-functionally within JUSDA to design and deliver end-to-end logistics solutions for new and prospective clients.Develop strategic business plans for targeted accounts, coordinating closely with sales, operations, and finance to align with JUSDA's growth objectives.Qualifications and SkillsRequired:Experience: Over 5 years in logistics business development, outside sales, or "hunting" roles focused on international air and ocean freight, as well as fulfillment solutions. Specialized Knowledge: Expertise in air, ocean, or fulfillment, particularly for trade lanes between the US and Mexico and US/Mexico to Asia (including China, Taiwan, India, Vietnam, and Southeast Asia).Industry Knowledge: Experience with high-value sectors, especially electronics, manufacturing, and automotive (EV).Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data to support solution design.Problem-Solving: Proven track record of innovative, effective solutions to complex logistics challenges.Client Relations: Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated through a history of successful client relationship building and business development.Education: BA/BS degree preferred.Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM software, such as Salesforce.This role is perfect for results-oriented professionals with a focus on new business development who are ready for a dynamic, challenging environment.
