Each respective group is Iconic by Nature and Exceptional by Design.We are currently seeking a Senior Account Executive:Job Description:The Senior Account Executive is responsible for strategically driving revenue growth and providing support to the Sam Edelman brand with direct responsibility for account management of key accounts and specialty retailers. They must drive for success, be goal/results driven, detail oriented, comfortable in a dynamic environment, enthusiastic and confident to develop and manage long-term business relationships.Sales Ownership:Strategically partner with accounts to drive revenue, retail sales and mitigate markdown liabilityFosters strong working relationship with SE teamAnalyzes style and by door selling, sales to stock relationship and profitability reports on a weekly basis to strategically drive full price sales and drive in season re-ordersEnsure all internal key milestone dates are achieved and manage, track all external ordersConduct market research to identify new business opportunitiesAttend industry events, trade shows, and fashion exhibitions to network and generate leadsPartners with wholesale planning to analyze OTB and creates action plans to minimize dilutionManages the brands representation in all channels to ensure company visual standards are being upheld and meeting expectationsCollaborate cross functionally with Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Production, Finance and Account/Customer ServiceLiquidate excess inventory; negotiating buys and ensuring internal margin targets are met with off price partnersProduct Ownership:Recaps market feedback; highlighting best sellers, product trends and opportunitiesReviews orders and provides suggestions based on style history, current market performance and regional needsCaptures final selling by delivery to pinpoint hits and misses which are then communicated to VP Sales and Merchandising to facilitate with the line plan processFinancial Ownership:Forecasts monthly revenue strategizing on opportunities to achieve shippable targetsDelivers fabric projections that align with the annual fiscal revenue plan and sales plan by accountManage dilution by account to ensure we are staying within planPartner with VP Sales to negotiate end of season markdown allowanceMiscellaneous:Develop direct reports by providing constructive feedback and leading by exampleParticipate in regional shows with SE teamAd hoc reporting as needed to support salesSome travel may be requiredAll other duties as assignedSkills/Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of previous account executive experience womans apparel for club accountsStrong interpersonal skills, ability to work with customers to develop strong long term relationships.Strong understanding of retail math and sales planning.Ability to cross function and foster teamwork.Excellent analytical skillsStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office including a high level of proficiency with ExcelExperience with Retail Math and RLM is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSalary Range: 110-125K *Actual base salary for this role within the above range will be based upon experience, qualifications and/or assigned unit.We are an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer.
