Retail Operations Specialist

We are seeking an Retail Operations Analyst will play a critical role in driving centralized processes and automation for the APLA Central Planning team. This position involves supporting forecast consolidation, data validation, and creating reporting and enablement capabilities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in retail metrics, advanced Excel skills, and experience with automation and visualization tools. A background in retail planning, especially with Merch Financial Planning (MFP) tools, is highly preferred.Key **Drive centralized process improvement and automation initiatives for the APLA Central Planning team.Consolidate and validate Geo and Territory Merch Financial Planning (MFP) forecasts.Support reporting and enablement capabilities such as EBP (Enterprise Business Planning), GEO DSM, and Marketplace analytics.Ensure accuracy in data validation processes and perform data accuracy checks.Develop data visualizations, reports, and presentations for effective communication with stakeholders.Automate and streamline processes, transitioning data workflows from Excel to Snowflake.Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau.Required Skills & *5+ years of experience with advanced Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and VBA.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, etc.) for visualization and deck creation.Strong understanding of retail metrics and financial planning, with experience reconciling MFP tools.Experience with automation and consolidating forecast files into charts and reports.Proven ability to perform data validation and manage reporting accuracy.Preferred Skills & *Familiarity with SQL, Python, R, or Java for data processing and analysis.Experience using Tableau for data visualization.Previous experience with enterprise business planning (EBP) tools.Knowledge of moving data workflows to Snowflake and building automated processes.About BrickRed **BrickRed Systems is a global leader in next-generation technology, consulting, and business process service companies.
