Our 72-bed hospital is constantly improving to meet the growing needs of our community to make sure that are community receives high-quality care when they visit the hospital.Sterile Processing Operations Coordinator responsibilities include:Ensures the timely and efficient completion of instrumentation and case carts for use in the O.R. and C.V.O.R. by monitoring the daily activities of the Sterile Processing Department.Identifies orientation and education needs of staff.Assists in designing and developing programs to promote education and enhance their technical knowledge.Assists the department manager with the development and implementation of new programs and systems.Screens candidates for replacement positions and participates in the completion of annual performance and competency evaluations.Promotes communication and collaboration among staff to enhance end products provided to areas serviced.Responsible for a pro-active quality programs, reporting of quality plan, goals and monitors for compliance.Assumes responsibility for the department in the absence of the manager.Acts as preceptor, mentor and resource in support of department team members.Required specific skills also includes operational skills.BayCare is all about making the most of your life and loving your career.
