Imaging Clinical Application Specialist"”Orlando/Jacksonville/So GeorgiaESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:SUMMARYCandidate can live in Orlando/Jacksonville/SO Georgia areas. Builds and develops strong partnerships with the customer base. Main focus is installing and demonstrating new injectors and training customers on use and features. Consults with new and existing injector customers. Each Device Applications Specialist will be assigned a specific geographic territory but when needed, will be responsible to work outside of their assigned territory.Position Scope: Capital Equipment to include: EmpowerCT and EmpowerMR Injectors, Virtual Colonoscopy, Sales support with various capital equipment device accessories, e.g. Syringes, Extravasation Patches.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:· Working knowledge of Computer Assisted Tomography (CAT) and Magnetic Resonance (MR) as well as injection systems.· Makes periodic checks pre-sale and post-sale to major accounts using Empower CT and MR injectors and virtual colonoscopy products, to ensure proper use of the equipment. Also answers any technical or feature related questions.· Assists Sales in maintaining business at key accounts using Empower Injectors by advising Sales Representatives of any breakdown in communication, unresolved issues or any other situation that would threaten our consumable business.· Customer focused with the ability to gain customer respect through knowledge of injector systems and virtual colonoscopy product line.· Develops new business opportunities for Company as directed by corporate initiatives.· May provide field service support as required within their territories. Involves use of hand tools and manual lifting of components weighing approximately 25 pounds each.· At each installation, required to manually assemble components of the injector device which weigh approximately 25 pounds each.· May involve travel outside of region as follows:o To assist other Imaging Applications Specialist Team members for multiple injector installations;o To attend Regional Sales Meetings;o To attend once yearly National Sales & Marketing Meeting.· During employee and customer training will be required to observe a patient undergoing a CT and MRI exams.· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational symposia; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies, and maintaining Radiologic Technology license.· Satisfactory completion of appropriate corporate training as related to the position and/or department.· Assures all regulatory compliance issues are being followed in the department's activities.· Contributes to overall achievement by accomplishing related tasks and demonstrating characteristics that exemplify team building and support.· The above is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of responsibilities. Other activities may be assigned as required by management.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED1) Registered CT/RT required with current license in good standing2) Five years CT and/or MR experience a plus.3) Excellent analytical skills, especially in problem solving4) Customer service orientation5) Working knowledge or IT/IS, PACS/RIS connectivity a plus6) Bachelors degree a plusCall Audience: Hospitals and Outpatient Imaging Centers including cath labs, CT and MRI Suites, radiology departments, pharmacy and purchasing--Selling contrast agents for CT and MRI, as well as, the injectors/informatics used to administer those products..
