Position PurposeThis role is responsible for representing the company within the designated territory or assigned accounts. The individual will develop and execute a proactive prospecting strategy and consistently report progress to the Senior Vice President of Bus. Key responsibilities include driving both new business and sales growth within the assigned area, with a strong focus on customer engagement, relationship-building, and achieving sales objectives. A results-driven approach is essential for success in this role.Principal Duties & ResponsibilitiesBuild, develop, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, becoming their trusted advisor for bus transportation solutions.Identify and qualify sales opportunities through strategic prospecting, referrals, and direct marketing initiatives.Conduct in-depth consultations to understand customers' needs and recommend the most suitable bus models and configurations.Close sales deal effectively and ensure timely delivery of buses to customers. Deliver engaging product demonstrations and provide detailed explanations of features, benefits, and technical specifications.Present competitive proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales to achieve or exceed established sales targets.Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns. Prepare regular sales and forecast to track performance against targets. Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.Attend trade shows, networking events, and training sessions to continually enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.Maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activities, pipeline opportunities, and customer interactions using CRM tools.Provide ongoing customer support to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and foster repeat business.The position requires frequent travel within the designated region, with a high volume of day trips, but no overnight stays are necessary.Other Duties and Responsibilities Must be regular and predictable in attendance. Must be able to work in a cooperative manner with co-workers and supervisors. Must uphold company policies, including anti-harassment program. Must have the ability to consistently meet production and time deadlines. Performs other duties as assigned. QualificationsProven track record in sales, with experience in the bus industry strongly preferred.Strong understanding of commercial bus features, specifications, and applications, or a willingness to learn quickly.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a consultative approach to sales.Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.Ability to communicate with various levels of management.Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.A passion for building lasting customer relationships and delivering tailored solutions.Self-driven and goal-oriented, with a strong desire to achieve results.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and CRM software. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. You must obtain a Commercial Driver's License and passenger endorsement within 90 days.
