Catalpa Health is a pediatric mental health clinic serving over 8,000 children in the Fox Valley each year. Our vision to inspire hope and provide world-class mental health care is our driving force and is realized each day through the actions of our team members.We are currently looking for an Executive Director who will oversee the operations and development/fundraising activities of the Catalpa Foundation. The Catalpa Foundation raises the necessary funds to empower Catalpa Health to provide mental health services to children and families in the Greater Fox Valley region.Duties for this position include but are not limited to:Fundraising and Development:Assess fundraising needs of Catalpa Health in conjunction with the Catalpa Foundation Board of Directors and Catalpa Health leadership team.Create and execute strategies to raise sustainable funds that allow the Foundation to achieve its mission and growth objectives.Research, coordinate, and apply for grants to support the activities of Catalpa Health and the Catalpa Foundation.Marketing and Communications:Generate consistent, effective communications promoting Catalpa Health services and development efforts of Catalpa Foundation.Execute marketing and public relations campaigns in conjunction with Catalpa Health leadership, marketing/communications team member(s) and Catalpa Foundation.Catalpa Foundation Board Relations:Provide leadership to the Foundation Board of Directors in development and implementation of a strategic plan and annual operating plan to guide fundraising efforts. .Actively develop and maintain Catalpa Foundation Board member relationships.Support Catalpa Foundation Board of Director committees and provides appropriate resourcesFiscal and Budget Oversight:Works closely with the Catalpa Health leadership and the Catalpa Foundation to oversee fiscal and budgetary activities of fundraising activities.Ensures appropriate maintenance of donor records in coordination with staff.Prepare financial reports related to donation activity.Who Should Apply:Your Qualifications Must Include:A completed Bachelors Degree in Non-Profit Management, Communications or related field.8-10 Years of relevant experience with increasing levels of responsibility in leadership and an emphasis on fundraising and development.Demonstrated success with major fundraising campaigns.Your Skills Include:Demonstrated effectiveness in corporate, foundation and/or high net worth individuals prospect identification and solicitation.Strong record of developing and sustaining benefactor relationships with organizations and individuals.Demonstrated knowledge of non-profit fundraising techniques and acceptable principles of financial management related to non-profit foundations.Strong written and oral communication skills, including public presentations to large and small groups.Superior interpersonal skills with emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.Familiarity with board governance and skill in cultivating board engagement.Ability to empower, engage, and work collaboratively with diverse audiences and a clear understanding of the complexity of the varied constituencies of Catalpa Health.Creative, high level of professionalism, resourcefulness, flexibility, an optimistic attitude, and trustworthiness.Benefits of working at Catalpa Health:Building a supportive work environment is at the heart of our values.
